Me
Kirk Rhunke once exclaimed to me: “Enough careers already, pick one!”
I think that’s an appropriate description of me and my personality. I’m a business man, a scientist, and a technologist:
- I’m currently working a Ph.D in Theoretical Physics at the University of Utah
- I’m the Chief Scientist for Solera Networks, Inc
- I’m a licensed Real Estate Agent in the State of Utah
- I’m partial owner of an investment company, Secured Holdings LC
- I founded the Stampede Linux Foundation (and won the $12,500 IDG/Linus Torvalds award for software excellence in 1999 based on my work for Stampede Linux)
- I have multiple patents both pending and issued for which I am the principal inventor
I have a wife, a daughter born in 2007, and two beagles.
Oh, did I mention I’m a licensed Pilot?
